God answered the prayers of a church in California by sending them a pastor and his family, from Texas.  Read more about this latest praise in the Church Updates section below.  And he's given us another local body to pray for, this one in Lee's Summit, MO.

You are doing a good work as you continue to pray for these churches we find that are in a search for a new pastor of evangelism, missions, or outreach.  Thank you, and don't grow faint.  I know from first hand experience, it's possible to grow weary, but our God is able to keep us growing in strength, diligence, and faithfulness, until he takes us home.

Yesterday (May 22, 2011), I was thrilled to read that a man had been added to the pastoral team of a church in a search.  Effective July 1st, the new Pastor of Middle School Ministries will be on board at my home church, Valley Bible of Hercules.  He hails from Texas and will be arriving with his wife and their three children.  Valley Bible is therefore technically no longer a church in a search.  Thank you for your prayers on our behalf.

The church however, is looking for an affordable, long-term living arrangement for the family, and therefore, I'd like to keep them and their new pastor and family in our prayers.
