Just In Time Prayer
Volume #2 - 3/1/10
Greetings!

In October of last year, we launched Just In Time Prayer, and shared with our prayer partners a ministry opportunity at a Christian conference, in Southern California.  For all the details, visit the archives and read the October 24th edition of Just in Time Prayer.  God did not provide the financial resources for us to consider incorporating that conference into our plans for 2010 but He has been working on our behalf in other areas.

About the same time we emailed our initial Just in Time Prayer newsletter, we began talking with organizers of the Bay Area Sunday School Convention about presenting some of our evangelism training workshops at BASS 2010.  Before Christmas we were selected to present two workshops at this year's event, on March 5th.  Those talks are the subject of our prayer request in this issue.  But wait...there's more to tell about our God.

He was working in a woman's life to meet a huge need of Share the Savior.  You can read all about that in our praise report below.  As always, our thanks for your willingness to serve.  It is a great comfort knowing that saints are regularly appearing before the throne of grace, carrying the needs of this ministry.

Sincerely in Christ,
Scott

Share the Savior:
Someone You Love Needs Him

Prayer Request

Friday, March 5th, we'll be presenting two workshops at BASS.  Please ask the Father to help us complete our preparation on time, and communicate the message He wants delivered.  We'll also be speaking with exhibitors attending the convention to explore how Share the Savior might be able to minister with them.  May God open up additional opportunities for us to serve the church through these contacts.

Praise Report

Effective February 9th, Mylene Thompson accepted our offer to become the Vice President of Operations for Share the Savior.  In this volunteer role, she'll be responsible for helping determine ministry priorities, and then recruiting, training, and managing a team of volunteers to accomplish the goals we set.

This is a process that began in eary 2008, when we identified another candidate.  She was unable to accept our offer, and we returned to the drawing board called prayer.  God answered YES this time, and we are thrilled with His answer.

As I was getting ready to send this, I took a look at the list of our prayer partners.  It brought tears of joy to my eyes, and a word of thanks to the Father for each name there.  Fourteen people, many who I've never met, have agreed to talk to our Father in heaven on our behalf.  I think your prayers may be a greater ministry than anything Share the Savior has or will ever do.  Thank you!
