living interaction... how usual!
Stuart Wilde always blows my mind. The latest read of his Infinite Mind revealed this:
Daily life is a symbol of the inner you. In using your ordinary five senses to their fullest, noticing and watching the signs, it assists you in the development of a sixth sense. So, as part of a heightened awareness, start demanding that your mind notice everything. Watch, look, count, and make a mental note of everything. If, for example, you enter a large hotel ballroom, within seconds you ought to know the answer to a dozen simple questions: how many chairs, lights, and waiters are there? What color is the carpet? Where are the tables? What's on them? and so on. Constantly demand that your mind notice event the most irrelevant information. In this way, you heighten your awareness in the five senses; and in watching your surroundings carefully, you gradually strengthen your sixth sense, picking up more than what is going on. Heightening your powers of observation in the external world assists you in becoming more aware of your internal, visionary self. The universe is constantly talking to you and showing you things. Indeed, life is constantly talking to us; showing us things; actively engaging us; beckoning us to our infinite greatness. But can we hear its call in the everyday unfoldings that others term "mundane"? Only if we are attuned to the unique vibration of life force itself. So, how can we attune ourselves to the life force? Further, how can we continually increase our perceptive abilities so that in every moment we are even more aligned with the guiding wisdom contained in each moment? Play. Actively engage. Practice. Boldly declare your intent to the Universe to do so. This isn't 'rocket science' or mystical-magical thinking. It's usual. It's perfectly natural. Do you know our DNA is actually encoded to function and thrive within the construct of 'living interaction'? Further, do you realize that this notion is foreign to many of us because we have been indoctrinated to believe we don't make any difference? that we have no power to impact our experience? If you're like most, you were taught that life happens to you and your job is to blindly follow along, averting as much pain as possible and maximizing a few moments of joy. I don't know about you, but that has never been enough for me. The next time you really take notice of someone, something, or some experience that crosses your path, know that it is life engaging you. It is life's way of getting your attention and communicating with you. In the only language it has, life itself beckons you into the magic of collaboration so both of you can expand. Instead of saying, "How unusual (odd, peculiar, unexpected, etc.)," discounting the significance, and then forgetting the experience altogether, with a greater awareness and continual confirmations of ever-increasing awareness in your external world, you can instead proclaim, "How USUAL!" as this becomes the most natural way in the world to go about the business of living your life. Heightened perceptive abilities are the keystones of blessed and extraordinary living... engage and apply them often and watch your life flourish. HOW USUAL! |
