Benevolent Marketing: The Way Forward
It's rare for me to feature a guest article in this newsletter. I love providing you with original content.
However, the reason I want to share this article is because it's the same message in someone else's language. The theme of conscious business is quickly gaining momentum and will soon reach critical mass; not because it's trendy, but because it's time. This article was written in 2007; the same year this newsletter was launched. Speaking this message for many years now, I finally see mainstream consumers and fellow colleagues understanding that the game of business has changed. Often because "tried-and-true" is no longer working, they're ready to adopt new practices to realize increased fulfillment AND sales. It's not a tricky new method for increasing sales, it's an honest attempt to position service as the #1 priority in business; to make relationships more important than sales. A few years ago this was a very tough sell. It didn't make sense to the masses because it was such a foreign approach to business. It's a whole new game now. The conventional sales and marketing dinosaurs will soon fall off the radar with inspiring, innovative and collaborative models replacing them. That's not to say you won't see slick and savvy sales attempts by the giants to appear benevolent; the ones who have money to hire pros to merely write the words. As a spirit-based business owner yourself, you know that without the genuine spirit of service to silently, but powerfully, support those words, consumers will see (feel) right through them. It is not something that can be duplicated. Without pure intent, the mission cannot be sustained. Integrity, service, relationships based on trust and benevolent marketing... that's the way forward. Love Transcends Behavior
When we directly address and actively engage the SOUL (or highest essence) of the person we love with our words, thoughts, and actions, THAT person invariably shows up. Instead of reacting to behaviors, focus your full attention on the goodness of the soul-person they are. Often, without conscious awareness, the very best of them is what they present. Without understanding why, they respond energetically to the pure vibrance of love that beckons the qualities that reflect and represent their highest self.
I find this a much better approach than nagging, complaining and being the voice of how someone else is wrong, inadequate, or inferior. Honestly, it's insufferable! What would be the reason to remain in such a situation if you were the one on the other end of this unkind and unloving behavior? And why would you do that to someone you claim to love? Yet, it's so prominent. Fortunately, the power to change today is within you!
Try the counter-habitual thing that provides peace, profound joy, deep fulfillment, mutual satisfaction and the rock-solid foundation for a long-lasting, love-infused connection: silently address the well of potential of the soul, and miracles will unfold before your eyes.

Busting Loose From The Money Game: Mind-Blowing Strategies for Changing the Rules of a Game You Can't Win 
By a series of beautifully-orchestrated events, I came across this book and devoured the 230 pages in 5 hours. I could not eat, sleep or do anything else once I started. I felt as though the author was speaking the unique message directly to ME. It resonated with such a confirmation that the sound was deafening. Absolutely beautiful. A little background In my personal life, recently I have explored the busting loose philosophy as it applies to society, religion and government. Until reading this book, something quite undefined has gnawed at me and propelled my search for understanding and clarity: it's the idea that "this" (life) is a complete fabrication of our minds, fueled by the individual and/or collective agenda(s) of societal, religious and governmental influences; that by "busting out" of their pre-defined constructs, there is an experience more vibrant, alive and meaningful than anything we've been taught. Always honor the voice inside you that's hinting there may be more. I did, and after reading this book EVERYTHING makes so much sense. My intuition was spot-on.
