3 Edgy insights to access the wisdom of the future you and guide you in business NOW![]()
Spirituality is shifting every facet of mainstream business.
With a following of more than 120,000 subscribers, Copyblogger recently featured an article authored by Mark Silver addressing how spiritual concepts and practices are easily applied to business. As conscious business owners, we have a rare opportunity to completely transform commerce. What we are actively creating in-the-moment has no template. And that's the point. from your future not your past. ~Werner Erhard As an astute observer of life, you have probably noticed an ever-widening gap between traditional business formulas and what spiritual, heart-based and conscious consumers want and need. Traditional marketing and sales campaigns simply aren't working. That's because people are starving for what is real; what is true; what speaks to their souls; what truly has value. We are being called to serve, using our businesses as catalyst for this grand shift. There's some something drawing us forward into the unknown to allow us to experience and share a greater fullness and depth. It responds to our individual intents and desires to serve humankind with our unique gifts. It is real, it is happening right in front of us and yet, it seems as conscious business owners, we don't quite know what to do with that information. We know that anything created using the past as a foundation can only create more of the same. Business and life approaches that simply recycle the old and put it into new packaging lack vibrance, vitality and don't capture the wisdom of the information, products and services that need to be in the world right in this very moment. As savvy entrepreneurs, we know there's so much more to discover by sitting on the edge of innovation; frankly, it's our favorite vantage-point! So, let's get on it... but how? How do we apply what we intuit the market wants based on something that doesn't yet exist? Why, we create it, of course; in this very moment by drawing from the guidance of the future in which it does already exist in the physical. How you create in the present from your future:
Conscious business owners are at the helm of innovating and implementing the leading-edge principles of the new age. It's never been a better time to make your unique contribution to the world by allowing your future to inspire you, draw you to it and work in active collaboration with the Universe until you manifest your perfect vision of service. Exploring excess weight as an indicator of disappointment![]()
"Excess weight is often an accumulation of our disappointment." ~Kathryn Weber, Master Feng Shui Consultant
What a brilliant insight. Honestly, I've never even considered it. But, I ask myself why couldn't it be true? And then I wondered about the term 'excess weight' and if it has even more applications to our lives. Ask anyone and they will tell you from a logical perspective that excess weight does not support you; in any way. Health concerns increase, ease-of-mobility decreases and the habits that brought on the extra pounds are as ingrained as ever, and nothing changes; at least for very long. In fact, the circumstances may worsen, causing even greater angst. It's one thing to carry around extra pounds on your body, but excess weight may not only accumulate on your physical frame. It can also show up psychologically, emotionally and environmentally. Psychologically-Our state-of-mind can get so cluttered simply by going about the day-to-day business of our lives. With numerous pressures coming from every angle, our mental well-being can be easily fragmented and compromised. Excess psychological weight shows up as fatigue, frustration, or overwhelm. Emotionally-Our emotions are delicate and fragile and they're supposed to be--but in a way that allows us to be sensitive to the conditions around us so we can change circumstances at the first sign of distress. Unfortunately, our emotions are often like an exposed nerve; heightened so continually that we are ever-distanced from our inner calm, peace and ease. Excess emotional weight shows up as frazzled nerves, lots-o-tears, and haphazard or a-typical behavior. Environmentally-Our physical environments are the easiest ways to assess when something deeper is going on within. From where you sit right now as you read this, scan your surroundings. Is it orderly, clean, suited to support you? Or does it say something else? Excess environmental weight shows up as disorder, chaos or simply surrounding ourselves with too much stuff. Regardless of how excess weight shows up in your life, it's merely an indicator; a signal; an opportunity to take a closer look at something that's telling you there's an energetic misalignment of some kind. It's simply a way to get your attention so you can choose differently should you decide to do so. It's always your choice. It's human to be disappointed at times. Not one person on the planet is exempt from this feeling. Yet, embedding that disappointment in any area of our lives doesn't address the core issue; it only subplants it to be excavated later. Without shame or blame, you may as well pay attention now and get to the heart of what's truly going on, so you can move on, sans the excess baggage. Whenever you notice excess weight in any area of life, without judgment, ask yourself: How is this an expression of disappointment? Then, journal or meditate on what comes to you. You might even simply allow the question to be as you go about the business of your life; let it simmer. You might be surprised by the answer(s) that surface(s). It usually involves pain of some kind. And that's okay. Let it be okay. With your genuine inquisitiveness and welcoming spirit for whatever arises, the electrical charge (the pain) diminishes or completely evaporates. Want to reprint or share this article? Bask in the unknown![]()
"We are like these children, holding a marble in their left hand and not letting it go until they are sure that the swap is in their right hand: we would like to have a new life but without losing the former life. We refuse the moment of passage, the moment of the empty hand."
~Christian Bobin (French author) If we can shift our attention to that moment between letting go and the moment the energetic vacuum has been filled, we give ourselves a rare opportunity to revel in the vastness of possibility; the wonder of what might be. And yet, how many of us do everything in our power to avoid the discomfort of not knowing what's next? We choreograph our lives so strategically, that we miss the experience of basking in that blissful space of unknowing; to actually embrace and rest in it. We may even think of those moments as emptiness, when in truth they are anything but. It's merely our perception, our belief, that leaves us felling empty. That space of unknowing is not a void. It is the realm of all possibility. Step in. Celebrating You In Sisterhood, Light & Love, ![]()
