Copywriting With Confidence - Quick Tips For Entrepreneurs![]()
There are many ways to accomplish any task.
Hiring an expert who knows way more than you
do is always my professional recommendation
and practice, but for a variety of reasons,
that may not always be possible.
So, to write effective online marketing copy, here are a few highlights in case you are embarking on this task yourself:
Many professional copywriters recommend against a DIY (do-it-yourself) approach to creating online marketing content. The reason is good copy actually delivers results; increased sales, credibility or exposure. That's what good copy is supposed to do, but it is a true skill to achieve this level. In contrast, bad copy just sits there... a page of words not pulling their weight. Worse, they can taint your valuable reputation or portray you as less than professional. And you've worked too hard to let that happen. If you have basic writing skills, a desire to learn the art of copywriting, and a commitment to the process, given time, you can do it as effectively as a seasoned pro. |

Problem? What Problem? Reframe Life Circumstances To Eliminate Limitation and Open All Possibility![]()
We have been societally-conditioned to
approach life from a defensive perspective.
We label life circumstances with words like
'problem,' 'complication,' and 'crisis.'
Without even realizing it, as soon as we
assign a limiting label, we move into a
reactive mode.
The difference between reacting and responding to life is whether or not we are free to explore all the possibilities with objectivity and move to resolve with joy. This requires the ability to consciously 'reframe' circumstances as they unfold in our lives. Accessing the well of potential moves us into the ultimate creative space and allows us to see a situation for what it really is: an opportunity. When we see every experience as opportunity-and our thoughts and words reflect this-we shift to being dynamic, conscious creators of our lives. The first step in this shift is becoming aware. The next time you find yourself using words (via thought or your actual words) like 'dilemma' or 'trial,' consciously ask yourself how these words leave you feeling. Most likely, it feels draining and lacking options. The second step in this shift is recognizing that in any moment, you have the power to reframe the situation and replace your thoughts with words like, 'occurrence' or 'development' thereby eliminating the emotional, reactive component. The third step is to feel the difference between the two types of labels. You are vigilant in every moment of how limiting labels of thought and word compromise the quality of your life. The fourth step is to practice this exercise until you use only empowering language; you genuinely see every situation as full of potential and operate exclusively from this space. Words are incredibly powerful and we have ultimate control of the ones we use to describe the events of our lives. Limiting ones leave us disempowered. Freeing ones leave us confident in knowing we have the ability to face the next opportunity with excited anticipation and courage.
