Colleague

Hello and Welcome to EditCopyProof's weekly outpouring of valuable information to propel your business and inspire your soul.

Every edition contains an eclectic compilation. Whatever happens during the week ends up in this UNnewsletter.

You are in the yawn-free zone when this publication arrives in your mailbox each Monday because I promise to deliver the best of the best. Take what works for you and discard the rest.

Business and pleasure. Pleasure and business. The lines cross so frequently for entrepreneurs, it's often impossible to separate the two. They blend so beautifully, why even try?

That's the basis of this publication. You get a full dose of business-related topics as well as content having nothing at all to do with business. I have no doubt you'll find something to enhance your life. Enjoy!

Entrepreneurs Ask...
Charlon Bobo   "Why shouldn't I just learn how to write my own marketing copy?"

copywriting
Answer: You absolutely should if you:

1. possess innate talent for writing
2. have the time to develop a new skill
3. are committed to the process of learning effective marketing and copywriting techniques

No matter what business I've ever owned, writing has been an integral part. Writing is an expression of my creativity and I derive a great deal of pleasure from the process. However, we are not all impassioned or gifted writers.

There are a ton of tasks required for the success of my business that I would never manage myself. Let's use graphic design as an example.

Even though I love color, layout, fonts and design in general, I am quite comfortable on the periphery of design projects or in close collaboration with a skilled designer. I don't have to become a graphic artist... especially when I have little passion for it and it would require a considerable amount of time to learn how to get better. I'm simply not interested. I have an innately intuitive and accomplished artist on staff who handles any task requiring his flair.

If you love the task,
by all means,
you should learn from experts
how do it better

If you don't love the task,
it's nice to know
there are alternatives
like delegating

Hire a pro. Keep cash and support circulating among smart, expert artisans who love what they do and enhance your business success with their savvy.

You cannot possibly do it all. That is the approach that leads to certain burnout. Go ahead: Ask me how I know!

The point is: Be discerning. Use your time and talents wisely. With so much to do, we must often delegate to others so we can move ahead the big machine of business as we envision it. But, there are certain things, for certain crazy reasons, we just LOVE to do. Do those and delegate the rest to trusted fellow entrepreneurs.

Holiday Gift-Giving Inspiration
Charlon Bobo   Karen's Botanicals

Karen's Botanicals
DISCLAIMER: This is not a paid endorsement, but instead a genuine expression of my personal positive experience. Often the best gift we can give is a testimonial for extraordinary products and services in support of female entrepreneurship. Karen's Botanticals certainly falls into this category.

************

In the course of my everyday life, I came across this incredible company.

I needed a new facial cleansing routine and the first place I always begin is researching handmade beauty products.

As is true for most of us, I want to try things initially without a huge investment to make sure I like them and that they'll work for me. With rosacea, I have to be extraordinarily cautious about what I put on my face.

I quickly found Karen's Botanicals and was impressed with the high-end feel of the Web site, professional photos of each product, detailed ingredient lists, beautiful and soothing botanical images, variety of products including gift sets, and surprisingly competitive pricing for the quality.

I placed an order for a sample size set of a cleanser, toner and moisturizer fitting for my skin type... a mere $8.25 WITH FREE SHIPPING! The online ordering process was seamless and my kit came within days with a handwritten note. I tried the 3 products and my skin felt incredibly balanced and healthy after the first try. Every day my skin seems to respond to the new cleansing routine. Wow.

I wholeheartedly support the many expressions of entrepreneurship and companies like Karen's Botanicals make it so easy! Attention-to-detail, customer service, superior products and lightning-quick delivery always get my attention... and future business.

Take a look for yourself and support female endeavors with your dollars as you purchase gifts this holiday season.

Hey, there's one more bonus! If you purchase anything before November 30th, SHIPPING IS FREE!

Charlon Bobo   Grounded in gratitude

ThanksDinner
My sincerest Thanksgiving wishes to you. Enjoy every moment.

On Thursday morning my parents and I will head to my Granny's house for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, lively conversation and much laughter. Essentially we are enjoying the moments and making memories.

Thanksgiving always reminds me of the word gratitude, which reminds me of a mini-movie Gratitude: The Master Key. The movie is less than 2 minutes, but is quite impactful. Enjoy!

Blessings.
