With a few notable exceptions (such as student-oriented Precious Time), concierge services and personal assistants are a luxury that tends to be beyond the reach of all but the most well-heeled members of society. Not so with Sunday, a request-based service that offers 24/7 personal assistance by internet or phone.

New York-based Sunday lets busy people in the US, Canada and the UK delegate chores as they arise, with monthly fees starting at just USD 29 and no cost to join. The site's agents are available 24/7 by email or phone, ready to make outbound calls, arrange travel plans, set dinner reservations, enable remote access to numerous websites and take action in emergency situations-virtually anything that can be handled remotely. The proprietary Sunday Portal facilitates interactions between members and agents by saving member information such as contacts and encrypted login details to leading websites such as Yahoo, Google, Seamlessweb, Zipcar and Fandango, to name just a few. Messenger and errand services are also available in New York City.

Sunday's Silver membership plan, priced at USD 29 monthly, includes 30 requests per month, with a charge of USD 2 for each request beyond that. The Gold plan is USD 49 for 50 requests per month, and USD 1.50 for each thereafter; it also gives members the ability to have Sunday make international calls on their behalf. It should come as no surprise that Sunday's low prices are made possible by outsourcing most of the work to agents in India.

Sunday was founded in 2006, and plans to expand to other major cities around the world. In this time-starved era, it's hard to imagine a place where the concept wouldn't succeed, especially with lifestyle gurus like Tim Ferriss promoting personal outsourcing. Next challenge, or rather, opportunity: bringing similar services to non-English speaking countries.

Marketing 101
Alexanda Cristoff   What is Video Marketing?

VideoMarketing
Video Marketing is one of the newest additions to the affiliate marketing industry, but it is also one of the most important. This is because as websites like You Tube have grown in size and gained publicity, so, too, have all other video sites. With 55 million individuals logging onto You Tube every month and spending an estimated 27 minutes on the site each visit, it is a form of free publicity that can't be overlooked.

Video marketing is a basic concept. It involves either making videos yourself or writing scripts and recording them via audio with relevant still images provided to create a film. Once you have the film for your selected product, the idea is then to upload it to as many video websites as possible to gain maximum exposure throughout free networks. With Internet bandwidth breaking new records every other month, the ability for users just like you to create your own unique infomercials and then upload them to selected social video websites has never been easier.

To cash in on this source of free advertising all you need is a webcam and a microphone and some general knowledge about your product. Even if you only have a microphone -- as I have already mentioned -- you can quite easily create a promotional film for your product just by using still frame images. This is not only essential because of the large audiences that can be reached, but also because it allows you, the promoter, to create your own unique promotional films using your knowledge. Information about the market and your target demographic enable you to bring traffic to your landing page and ultimately convert that traffic into sales.

With compression software available for free, there is no excuse for not utilizing video marketing as an effective part of your product campaigns, as even an extremely large file can be compressed to ridiculously small sizes in just a matter of minutes.

It is essentially impossible to make a bad promotional film as long as you are honest and unique. People want to watch you, and that is the point. Create your own personal films. Not only do you increase traffic and conversions from your landing page but the potential for one-of-a-kind films is easily within your grasp. Your only limit is your imagination.

This picture is from a recent rendezvous with one of my favorite people in the world -- my dear friend Lisa. She and I met at the historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel, the premier choice for celebrities, presidents and dignitaries for over 80 years.

Experiencing unparalleled grandeur in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, we sipped champagne, flavorful teas sourced worldwide and indulged in decadent tea sandwiches and sweet delights including freshly baked scones and French pastries.

High tea may not be your pleasure, but I invite you to regularly indulge in your favorite extravagance. You're worth it and as much as you give to others, give at least this much to yourself.

Blessings.
