As we approach the end of the spring recess we thought it would be helpful to recap where our programs currently stand. Erroneous information circulating about final numbers in the recently completed continuing resolution seems to have many confused. As always, please turn to NCAF for clarity.

The network deserves a round of applause for your efforts in helping NCAF successfully stand up for CSBG. This was the first major test and we passed with flying colors. But this is just the first test- ahead of us now are the upcoming battles on the debt ceiling, the FY12 budget, and President Obama's budget summit.
As NCAF refines our strategy for the upcoming budget battle, we wanted to update you on some of the members with whom we will likely not be spending much time. Below is the list of the 59 House Republicans who voted NO on the FY2011 CR agreement. Virtually all of these members voted no because the bill did not make enough cuts. These members are highly unlikely to support us in this environment.
