Welcome to the Amador Marching Band and Color Guard Family. My name is Sue Worth. I have a sophomore Baritone player and this will be my 7th year with the marching band. I am the freshmen / new student parent liaison for the 2012 - 2013 season. I can answer any questions you may have about the upcoming Marching Band season or at least get you pointed to the right person.
Being a Marching Don is an exciting activity for your student. With approximately 10% of the student body involved in this tight knit group of band students your student will have a ton of new friends on their first day of school.
By now your student should have been invited to a get together with his or her section. They are called "sectionals" and they are held occasionally throughout the summer and the marching band season. This is a chance for your student to meet the rest of his or her section to have some fun, start some physical training, or practice the music. If your student has not heard from their section leader yet please let me know and I will make the connection.
Below is a list of some of the more important fall activities. Note that times may change, so review the calander at www.amadormusic.org often.
