The Magic of Music is coming together wonderfully with a fantastic theme, wonderful decorations and great items up for auction.  With the inclusion of music over dinner and dancing (provided by our own musicians) this is an evening at beautiful Sunol Glen Country Club that can't be beat.  I am looking forward to the evening as a celebration of our successes-many of which would not be possible without the very funds raised from Magic of Music.

At a time when many neighboring music programs are facing drastic cuts and painful decisions are being made in other communitites about keeping music in schools, our program thrives, and in fact grows.  Thank you for your support and I hope to see you on the 28th.  Simply follow the yellow brick road!

The Magic of Music Upon Us!
 Mom Over the Rainbow
Saturday night is the night to Follow The Yellow Brick Road and Awaken to Your Heart's Desire In Oz.  If you absolutely can't make it Over The Rainbow to the Magic of Music, you can still contribute by making a donation in lieu of attendance or buying some iPad3 raffle tickets, or both!  The winning raffle ticket will be drawn at the Magic of Music, but you do not need to be present to win.  Raffle tickets are $10 each and must be purchased by Friday, April 27th at 3pm to be entered. Go the Magic web site to donate and/or buy raffle tickets. Contact Sally Baker with any questions.

Check out the on line auction catalog to see what's up for auction Saturday night!

Thanks to so many people who are making the Magic of Music possible.  Thanks to those who solicited donations, gave donations, created decorations, input data, organized, sewed, prepared music, advertised, designed our art work and many other contributions too numerous to list. As I sat at my dining room table tonight, surrounded by numerous auction packages, I was so thankful for our generous community, not just for the things they give, but for the time and the care.  I want to say a special thank you to Tom Cayton.  Seven of his amazing musical instrument lamps are part of our decor at this time.  Tom has created and donated these amazing lamps for many years to benefit AFM and other great music education causes in our community.  They are always popular and hotly contested at the auction tables.  Thanks Tom!

I can't wait to click my heals together on the dance floor Saturday night because there's no place like Amador Music!
