Seeking Registrar Replacement
Are you looking for an easy and important volunteer position? If you have an eye for details, enjoy light editing/writing, are responsible and organized, and work well alone or with others, the Registrar position might be for you.
I will be leaving AVHS when my son graduates in 2013. The person considering the job will need to meet with me next month to learn the job's duties, and shadow me at Registration for two sessions at the start of band camp on Aug. 11 and Aug. 13.

Shoreline and Concord Pavilion
Would you like to earn money for your student's Music (Band, Choir, Strings) account? We sell food and beverages during concerts at the Concord Pavilion and Shoreline Amphitheatre? On average a parent can expect to earn from $70-$100 per event. Zac Brown band opens the season April 14th and ends Late October with Neil Young's Bridge School benefit. On Friday April 27 all four concert bands will be participating in our annual evaluation at district band festival. The festival is held at Irvington High School in Fremont. Students are responsible for arranging transportation to and from the festival. We are looking for a few more Good People to Join the AFM Board
It's time to start planning for next year. The AFM board nominating committee has started the process of creating a slate of members to recommend for the ballot of the May election. The positions to be filled are president, vice president for fundraising, vice president for logistics, secretary and treasurer.
