IT DOESN'T GET ANY EASIER THAN THIS!

Looking for a simple way to help AFM without meetings, projects, etc.?  The current coordinator of our Grocery Loyalty Programs (Raley's and Lucky's) will be stepping aside with her senior's graduation this year.  This low-key position requires very little time: simply match a quarterly statement of credits to band members' card numbers and pass the information on to AFM's treasurer four times a year.  It's the perfect way to contribute if your schedule prevents you from volunteering for some of the larger efforts.  Email Jenny Howard if interested.

We need your help!

 Chabot Wind Band Festival

Chabot Wind Band Festival information for WE I/WE II Is now available on
the music program web page. A reminder that this is a 1/2 day of school so students will not be missing any instructional time to attend the festival.  Parents are invited and encouraged to attend the performance if you are available. It is free to see both groups perform.

Congratulations! Both the Amador Valley and Pleasanton Unified Middle School Winter Guards brought home 1st place honors this past weekend at the Oak Grove competition.

Magic of Music - April 28th

Mom Over the RainbowParents, it's time to make your donation to the Magic of Music.

Do you have a special skill or service we can auction off?  If you have your own business, it's a great way to support music and get people in the door!  How about getting together with a music friend and putting together a basket involving your favorite sport or form of entertainment?  Scrip is also a great way to donate, you get some money in your students account and AFM gets gift cards to add to baskets or give out as prizes.  Please get donations to Sally Baker by March 24, 2012 to give us time to put everything in the computer and get organized.  Download a donation form, fill it out and deliver it with your donation. Contact Sally Baker with any questions. We will appreciate all donations, big and small!
