All of the PUSD jazz bands will be performing - with a total of 46 big bands and combos from 24 schools! You won't want to miss it!

So don't delay - get your favorite job back - or sign up for a new one - by emailing Chairperson Marilyn Palowitch NOW! Just write "I want to help!" and we'll get started.

Countdown to Winter Show

Saturday, February 4th.
The Winter Percussion and Winterguard Show is 26 days away!
This is the one of the largest Winter Shows in Northern CA and we need the help of the AFM community to make this event run smoothly.
To volunteer, please click this link. There are a wide variety of jobs and times available. AVHS parents will be able to see our groups perform.
Also, my daughter is a Senior this year and I am looking for someone willing to coordinate this event next year. If you are interested in this opportunity, please send me a note.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me,

Music to our Ears:
Good News on Finances Thanks to Your Support Over the past few months, we have had many discussions and communications about our financial situation. Many of you have shared our concerns about AFM's financial position. That's why I am delighted to take this opportunity to share good news with you and to thank you for your support. Thanks to an increase in incoming parent contributions, additional fundraising activities and unbudgeted contributions (including corporate gifts), we have closed the gap between our revenue and the fall program budget needs for AFM. Of course, we still need your help. You should have received a statement for the spring semester detailing the needs of the program based on your student's spring participation. We hope we can continue to count on your support for the Spring activities. THANK YOU for all you do for our students. Together, let's celebrate this achievement on behalf of the music programs at Amador! As always, if you have questions, please feel free to contact me. Thank you! Steve Kirch AFM President
