Midnight
 Bowl-a-thon

Band council is planning on having the midnight Bowl-a-thon on Thursday, November 10th at Granada Bowl. We have no school that day! Parent chaperones are needed.  If you can help, please contact Sara Borchers.

What would you do if you really wanted to make a big bang with an opening of your new store?  If you are Safeway, you get the biggest, loudest, proudest band to make some music for you.  That's exactly what's happening on November 17 from 2:30-3:30 when our marching  band leads the crowd into the new Bernal store during the VIP opening ceremonies.  Safeway is a strong supporter of the Amador band.  Thanks, Safeway!

Here's an opportunity to have your friends and family enjoy the band - November 17th

Amador Friends of Music and the Foothill Band Boosters invite music lovers to Friends & Family at the Amador Valley High School Stadium.  This annual event is an opportunity for the community to see the award winning performances by both the Amador Valley High School and the Foothill High School Marching Bands.

.

For the first time, the event also includes a dinner option.  Food mafia gourmet  trucks will be available from 5:30pm-7:15 pm to  serve  a delicious selection of American and Asian entrees and gourmet cupcakes. A percentage of the proceeds will benefit the Amador band.  The live music performance will begin at 7:30.

Also new this year is a raffle where attendees can purchase a chance to march with the Amador Valley High Band and carry the banner at the Holiday parade on Main Street on December 3.  Raffle tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10; with the winner to be announced at the Friends and Family Dinner & Show.
