Magic of Music - our big fund raiser of the year is under way
Can you help out the Magic of Music team by asking your favorite business for a donation?  Follow the link to our Jooners account
and see who  we're asking for donations and see who still needs to be asked.  Or, add a business that's not on the list by e-mailing Paul Unpingco.  Get a donation request letter and form from the web site  and get that donation!  We want gifts card, services and merchandise, no donation is too large or too small.

Contact Sally Baker with any questions and to deliver donations.  Please join us at our next Magic of Music meeting on Tuesday, November 8th at 7:30pm in the choir room.  We'll be done in time to watch the last 20 minutes of rehearsal and the final run through.

Fresno here we come!

Go Dons!  The band turned in a strong performance at the Foothill Band Review on Saturday.  Congratulations on taking home music sweepstakes, high brass and high woodwinds (out of 22 bands!)  The guard and percussion brought home 2nd place honors and the full band took second in visual and
1st place in the 5A division.

Please check the website for itinerary information on this Saturday's trip to Fresno State for the Sierra Cup Classic.  Hope to see you there!   A reminder-if you are taking your child home after the show, please notify me by Friday.  Thanks.

A look ahead... Friday 11/4 will be our final home game of the season.  Joining us will be the 8th grade band members from HPMS and PMS.  Band leadership is asked to arrive at 5:30 pm, full band at 6:00 pm.

Saturday 11/5 is our final Saturday practice of the season.  Practice is from 12-9 to minimize conflicts with the SAT scheduled for that day.

Field trip forms have gone out  The band and colorguard will be missing school on Friday November 18 to travel to Santa Barbara for WBA championships.  A detailed itinerary will be coming soon.  Make sure your child has checked with their teachers for any missing work on that Friday.

Lots of planning has been taking place to prepare for our trip to Santa Barbara.  Now it's your turn.  Please sign up on Jooners to volunteer. We need people to help set up, serve and clean up. Several hands needed.  We have more than 260 hungry teenagers to feed and they LOVE to eat!  If you want to see some smiles, please sign up to help.

You can also sign up to lend a cooler or canopy on Jooners.

We are still in need of a Canopy Transport team.  We must be ready for any type of weather.  Can you load canopies in your car/truck?  Will have canopies dropped off and picked up from your home.  You just need to drive.  Contact Leanna Olberg.

Michael Swailes is our Grubmaster in training taking over next year.  Michael is a wonderful asset to the band and I'm enjoying my time working with him.
