Overthe past few years, the band parents have come together to provide yummy snacks for our hungry marching band students at the end of Tuesday night rehearsals. We will continue this every Tuesday throughout the season. The kids really love it after they have had a long, hard day. Suggestions for what to bring: cookies, cupcakes, brownies - any treat that teens would love! We do have some allergies in our band, so please everything needs to be peanut free 100%. I hope that the start of the school year is treating each family to good beginnings and smooth transitions into the new year. I continue to be impressed with the level of hard work and discipline the band is displaying so early in the season. We took our first steps marching and playing on Tuesday night and expect to be 1/3 of the way through our opening production on Saturday. The props are almost done and the flags are in production! "The Awakening" is coming together and I believe will prove to be our most entertaining show yet.
