Job of the Week
Space Cadet
A local, indoor space of at least 50' x 90', with high ceilings, is needed for rehearsals for the Winterguard and/or Winter Percussion ensembles. Do you know of a church hall or gymnasium, unused warehouse, empty garage bays, etc., which might be suitable and available for afterschool or early evening rehearsals. PUSD certificate of insurance liability coverage will apply. Do you know of such a space in Pleasanton or close by? Please help. Make some calls, and if you have a good lead, please share contact information with Mr. Grantham or Marilyn Palowitch. THANK YOU!

UNIFORMS!!
Hopefully you already got this message from your student.....
Turn in Band Uniform Thursday, Dec 16th.
Do NOT launder jacket. This will be done by an outside service to ensure all are washed the same way for the first washing, as per manufacturer's instructions.
Everyone: Launder Bib Pants. Cool wash, low dry.
Seniors ONLY: Remove hemming before laundering. Please be careful in removing. We had a few pants last year that sustained damage from ripping out the hemming.

2011 Campana Jazz Festival
 The 36th Annual Campana Jazz Festival is on February 12, 2011 at AVHS. All Jazz Band parents will be asked to assist, and many parents from the general membership will also be needed to round out the volunteer crew.
