The WIPsters in London are getting ready for one of the biggest events on earth - the Summer Olympics. Here in North America, we are preparing for WIPJam + Muther! of all Hackathons taking place in Detroit at the end of July. Check below for an opportunity to receive a FREE pass. Towards the end of August, we will host a mini WIPJam with Interactive Scotland at the Turing Festival in Edinburgh. The Call for Papers is on for droidcon UK 2012, taking place in October.

Are you exciting about the 2012 Summer Olympics? Vote Here Last Month's Results: Most of you are combining business with pleasure and working at the beach.


		MoSo Conference June 14 & 15, Saskatoon, SK, Canada Teresa Ostman from WIP attended MoSo conf last month. This Mobile and Social Media Conference featured two days of presentations on mobile and social topics along with a MoSoFest - an indie music festival. This was the second year for the conference that brought together 350 people from the mobile and social media sectors in Saskatchewan. MoSo offered a variety of local, national and American speakers and it was aimed at both a developer and business audience. MoSoFest featured a number of local bands performing at various venues Thursday, Friday & Saturday evenings. A HTML5 coding camp was held on June 13th that "sold out" with 50 MoSo Conference attendees. One of the main themes of the conference was Social Media. Lots of emphasis on the fact that it should be used and implemented early in a plan not as an after-thought in strategy or app development. Brands should not be scared of social media; instead dedicate staff and resources to use it to solicit, secure and retain customers. The conference attendees were excited to be part of this conference. It offered the audience an opportunity to hear from speakers who they would not have the chance to see without traveling to a larger center. The attendees came from many different backgrounds and industries.
