Hola ¡ This is your February WIP newsletter !

You might think :
"Who has time to read this newsletter when there's so much to do before Mobile World Congress? "
And you might even utter:
"Who has time to write a newsletter... don't you have a WIPJam to prepare? "
And a rack of tee shirts to line up! "
Yes I do and many more things, too!!
- Get the logistics sorted out with the WIP tips and SIM cards tips and find new chairs as WIPJam is going XL with 100 additional seats available.
- Download the WIP Survival Guide to Mobile World Congress or even better get the mobile app version with the WIPJam app for Android, Nokia and iPhone (visit your favourite store in the coming days and look for WIPJam)
- Sign up for some of the "cliffhanger" developer events:
- Get my name in all the cool parties in town, using one of the zillion MWC guide to parties : unwireview.com , Ric Ferraro's blog, Mobile Slate's, Lisa Whelan's, M-trends
- Finalise the demo agenda, espcially needing your support to beat a World Record... the largest display made of individual intercommunicating devices with the Blinkendroid team Thursday 12:30 at WIPJam.
- Ask for your help filling up this survey and get your voice heard on the "placing apps into appstores is it just a nightmare " session at WIPJam in partnership with Exicon
- With all this I completely forgot about booking meetings... So feel free to get in touch!
But let's not forget that the majority of the mobile world has either:
- a product to launch and no time to waste in talks thank you
- a CFO who refuses to pay for flights, expensive hotels and Cava nights and just hopes the next MWC is not going to be in Paris
- a beloved partner who refuses to let you go for Valentines
- an allergy to manchego, pan i jamon...
And will therefore not be at MWC!
If you fall in this category here's the unique guide to NOT BEING at MWC:
Best, Thibaut

Latest App Store Report - Understanding Reach and Submissions
|
The WIP APP STORE CATALOG now has 113 stores. As the number of app stores continues to increase, the headache of submitting to stores increases for developers. Each submission has different requirements and takes time -- so it's important to have an understanding of the reach of each store to help prioritize which stores to submit to. Learn more in our latest PDF.
Check out the report, and leave your thoughts and comments, on the WIP Connector blog.

| Check Out The WIP Mobile API Catalog! |
The WIP Mobile API Catalog is a listing of mobile APIs that developers can use to expand the functionality and increase the quality of their apps. It continues to grow as more and more APIs get listed in it, so be sure to check it out. For instance, if you're looking for help with location in your app, it lists a number of different APIs from companies like deCarta, Telenav, Telefonica, OneAPI, Sprint, Verizon and more.
Like the other content on our site, it's community-based, which means you can add to it! If you offer an API for mobile developers, help spread the word about it by entering it there!
