Hi ! What do you want to hear about first? App Development Practices OR the over $20,000 worth of event passes we have to give away??  I pick Application Lifecycle Management! It is a hot topic we are focused on based on feedback from our Developer Advisory Group and monitoring the industry. Most apps have short lives, so the approach to development, usability, features, enhancements, versions, revenue options and marketing is changing to create apps that live more than a few months, can quickly iterate to customer feedback, and have companies that can grow and be sustainable. The App Stores offerings and certification process are just some of what also must change. Check out the blog from Thibaut, where feature development from Flirtomatic is described as: Launch the feature on the site; wait 1 day, look at the response rates; IF very positive THEN keep; IF very negative THEN remove; if marginal THEN expand trial period." As noted, is it a topic we will focus on during our events including the opening UnPanel @OSiM in London October 20. Do you have a novel approach to App lifecycle management? We have had a few folks approach us about generating a best practices document for mobile app development - so let's get the conversation started now. September always come roaring back with new announcements, activities and of course more events. Our industry is really peaking with mobile events, especially in cities like San Francisco and London where you can go to 2-3 in one day. We did a review of just September developer events, and noted it would cost over $10k for developers to attend all of them, and that didn't include travel costs. Great news though- we have over $20k worth of free tickets or discounts to give away, check out below, or head to our Marketplace - as this is on a first come first serve basis.  We are teamed up in a big way with the Verizon in just two weeks for a WIPJam @ VDC Conference in Las Vegas, September 21/22 with our Discussion Leaders from PhotoBucket, GoSub60, Mobifusion, PhoneGap, ZosComm, and Widality. Practice up on your ping pong skills.... that's all we are gonna say! Our collective travel schedule is busy, as we want to stay on top of what is going on!
