Greetings!

Gratitude, love, blessings and joy: I have associated these words with the Institute for Jewish Spirituality for many years now, but I feel them particularly keenly these days.
|
Three weeks ago the room was radiant with gratitude and love as we paid tribute to the transformative work Rabbi Rachel Cowan has contributed within the Institute and beyond. It was truly inspiring to hear the many stories of her visionary dedication and to be among the wide range of people who gathered to witness the loving tributes.
And now I have just come back from Trinity Conference Center as the sixth rabbinic cohort has come to a close and we have had a wonderful silent meditation Shabbat, Hevraya retreat, and lay leader Shabbaton.
The shared blessings, the overflowing joy in song and prayer, the gratitude for honest and supportive community have all been palpable for the last two weeks. And so is the excitement for the possibilities yet to come.
Thank you for taking time out of your day to spend with us. I am so looking forward to meeting or reconnecting with you and warmly invite you to join one of the gatherings in the coming months!
Sincerely,
Lisa

Join in the expanding circle of rabbis, cantors and others who share in the profound and spiritually uplifting world of Torah study with the Institute for Jewish Spirituality.
This year (5772) we will study from No'am Elimelekh,

Enrich yourself, deepen your experience of Torah study and expand the sources from which you teach by participating in the Institute's Text Study Program. Join us in mining these sources for useful and powerful teachings, informed by a contemplative, mindfulness based approach.
