Congratulations to our own Aaron Johnson.  His art won First Place in the prestigious Concours d'Elegance  

 

 

"The call for submissions had artists from around the country revving

up to design the central image for the Annual Marin Sonoma Concours d'Elegance, a  

benefit for Hospice By The Bay.  The 2011 event will

once again be held at the Civic Center Fairgrounds on May 15th with

the featured marque being the Rolls-Royce. 

 

The art piece was to feature Frank Lloyd Wright's iconic design of the Marin Civic Center as well as both of the selected marques.  Artist Aaron Johnson went the extra mile by additionally incorporating an Indianapolis 500 Race Car and a milestone Chevrolet into his piece, both of which are celebrating Centennials in 2011 and will be featured at the event."
