PHONE BANKS AND CANVASSING
Across the District, there are phone banks and canvassing events going on daily. Washington United for Marriage is conducting phone banks every day at 5:30 pm from their office at 15019 Aurora in Shoreline. In North City, the Obama for America office on NE 179th is open from 10-9 or so daily for volunteers to make phone calls or to go out and canvass. (Canvassing is about 30 times more effective than getting out the vote than phone banking).
