Greetings!
With summer finally here, it means it is time to enjoy being outdoors and talking to your neighbors. It also means that it is time to help register new voters and help our endorsed candidates identify potential supporters for the November election.
This Saturday, July 14, at 10:30, we are meeting at Wilcox Park in Lynnwood to canvass for Rick Larson, Cindy Ryu, and Ruth Kagi. I hope to see you there.
On the District's website is our list of endorsed candidates. Tomorrow you will find a downloadable flyer on the website for you to print and distribute to your neighbors. If you need a list of voters in your precinct, please log into VoteBuilder or contact me and I will get you a list. I have literature for some of our candidates at my house.
Future canvassing and GOTV events include:
- Weekly canvassing events Saturday mornings. On July 28, we will canvass in Mountlake Terrace.
- Phone Banking from your computer daily.
- 32nd LD Picnic on Sunday, July 29 at 11:00 am at Carkeek Park.
- Also, look forward to Canvassing kickoffs for the Ryu and Kagi campaigns.
This election is looking like it will be a base election, and our candidates will win if we get our voters to the polls.
Please help Jay Inslee, Barack Obama, and our endorsed candidates this month.
