Friends,
At our February Monthly Meeting Richard Wells of SustainableWorks presented information on bringing low cost home energy audits and retrofits to our community. Having an energy efficient home is the first step towards employing renewable energy.
We are asking for your help in getting the word out to the Shoreline Community. Can you help drop off program announcements tomorrow?
SustainableWorks combines an energy audit and retrofit with utility incentives, federal energy efficiency funding and loan financing working with all residents, regardless of income and coordinates with the state low income westernization program.
Conserving energy is THE most important step homeowners can take to reduce our use of important energy resources.
Teams of enthusiastic volunteers will be heading out Saturday morning to distribute literature. This is a simple literature drop, we're not doorbelling or talking about programs. We need help putting door hanger announcements at every house in selected Shoreline neighborhoods. Many hands make light work and we hope to see you on Saturday.
WHAT DAY: Saturday, 3/26
WHAT TIME: 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM
WHERE: Richmond Beach Congregational Church
1512 Northwest 195th Street
(Down the hill on Richmond Beach Road)
RSVP: Please reply to MarynW@aol.com
