Your Vote Counts - See this year's recount in Edmonds for why you should voteAcross King County, only one of every two registered voters is
expected to cast their ballot in this November 's election. This means that
barely a quarter of the State could strip away basic rights from all Washingtonians or make it difficult to provide health care or education in our State.
We must do everything we can to increase voter turnout in our district. We must talk to our neighbors and remind them of the stakes involved in this election. We need you to help us make phone calls to infrequent Democratic voters and remind them to vote.
If you are a PCO, all you need to do is log into
VoteBuilder and go to Virtual Phone Bank between 11 and 8:30 and follow the script. If you are not a PCO, please send me (
chris.roberts@32democrats.org) an email saying that you would like to help and I will set you up with an account.
If phone calls are not your strength, we are going to canvass and literature drop every weekend from the office at 509 NE 165th St in Shoreline between now and the election. We meet between 10 and 12 on Saturdays and 12:30 and 1 on Sundays.
I hope to see you there.
