Las Vegas children Big Dog's is proud to support the great work of the Patrick Kelley Youth Foundation, one of the really great local charities that are making a difference in Las Vegas. Coming up on Sunday, March 25, 2012, the Patrick Kelley Youth Foundation will be hosting its 11th annual "PK Bike Day" celebration. The event will be held from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Piero's Italian Cuisine, located at 355 Convention Center Drive. Last year over 250 new bicycles were donated to underprivileged children in the Las Vegas Valley. In addition, the annual recipients of the Patrick Kelley Youth Foundation college scholarships are announced. Our goal for 2012 is to award $40,000 in college scholarships to local youth! Every penny raised by the Patrick Kelley Youth Foundation goes directly to work to benefit youths in our community by providing bicycles for Bike Day and the funding for the Foundation's next Scholarship recipient. Should you elect to bring a bicycle with you rather than donate funds, please bear in mind that we are in need of bicycles 20" and higher, for both boys and girls, with a size appropriate helmet. We are excited to announce that the Patrick Kelley Youth Foundation will also be the featured charity for the 3rd Annual Peace Love & Hoppy-ness Beer & Music festival at Big Dog's Draft House on Saturday, April 28th.
