And the Winner Is... Oakland Theaters

Grand Lake NightOscar season is always a great time to celebrate the pageantry of  the Hollywood at a big screen. The Grand Lake Theater is a classic place to enjoy a film, with Wurlitzer organ performances on the weekends, free popcorn on Tuesdays and several A-list movies on the marquee. The Piedmont Theatre is the oldest operating movie theater in Oakland. It features an eclectic mix of independent films on one of three screens. The Regal Cinemas in Jack London Square has everything from IMAX 3D to 2D Blockbusters. The Paramount Theatre may not premiere this year's Oscar contenders, but it's an ideal place to reminisce on past award winners from  prior decades. Enjoy the show!
