Music in the Hills: Woodminster Amphitheatre
Woodminster Summer Musicals kicks off its 2008 season with the classic "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" in July. Located high in the Oakland Hills at Joaquin Miller Park, an evening at the Woodminster Amphitheatre lets you enjoy an outdoor picnic before you listen to music under the stars. Looking for a fun group outing? Groups of 25 or more can purchase tickets for half price for all performances except Saturdays. The 2008 season continues with "Seussical", based the characters of Dr. Seuss, and Gilbert and Sullivan's "The Pirates of Penzance."
