National Religious Broadcasting Convention

 pictured above: l to r: Brian, Rodney Baucom, Allison, Phyllis & Rick Webb Allison recently had the opportunity to sing at the National Religous Broadcasting convention which was held in Nashville, TN, at the Opryland Hotel. She performed on Monday, February 20, 2012, on the exhibit floor with her friends, The Webbs, from Colfax, NC. Allison relates, "It was an honor to sing at this prestigious event, and being with the Webbs made it that much more special to Brian and me. They are very dear to us." While at the event, Allison met up with radio personality Rodney Baucom, DJ for God's Country on the Jubilee Radio Network. |

Timothy+Barnabas Pastor's Retreat

 pictured above: Janet Hunt and Allison Dr. Johnny Hunt, pastor of First Baptist Church in Woodstock, GA, and his wife Janet invited Allison to sing and speak at their annual Timothy+Barnabas Pastor's Retreat in Stone Mountain, GA and Gatlinburg, TN. Pastor Johnny explains, "The name Timothy+Barnabas was chosen to speak of instruction and encouragement. I'm not sure that most pastors need a lot more instruction as much as they need encouragement in the instruction they have already received." The three-day event, which was founded in 1994, is a place where pastors and their wives can come for a time of refreshing and be among peers. Allison sang for the full group and spoke to the wives in a ladies-only meeting. |

Absolutely Gospel Music
Allison recently began writing a weekly and monthly article for Absolutely Gospel Music.com. She says, "I am excited about writing some of my thoughts down and sharing them. This is a new venture for me, not the writing down, but the sharing." Allison's weekly contribution to the Daily Devotional will be available on Thursdays. Her first three articles, "Pray, Children, Pray", "Neither Goodness or Greatness Can Deliver You From Affliction", and "Where There is No Revelation", have already been published to the site. So, please take a minute, check them out and let us know what you think. Allison's articles will also be available on her website in the coming weeks.
