    National Anthem

Allison had the honor of singing the National Anthem and half-time music for an NBA game between the Indiana Pacers and the Chicago Bulls. The game was held at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana on Saturday, January 21, 2006. As Allison ended the National Anthem on a characteristic high note, the audience began to cheer and scream and ended the song with a thunderous ovation.

Christian music makes a great gift and is encouraging and uplifting to the recipient. Click on Allison's store to order. We can ship your order to you or directly to the recipient. Give the gift of music this Christmas!

    Halftime

For the halftime show, Allison had six minutes to sing a patriotic set. Not having any patriotic music, she call Bill Gaither. Bill graciously offered us several tracks from the New York video that worked wonderfully. She sang "This Land Is Your Land" and "God Bless America." Both songs were perfect and allowed the crowd to sing along with her.

Allison relates, “Singing at an NBA game was one of the most tremendous experiences of my life. The staff of the Pacer’s was warm and gracious to us. This was an honor that I will always cherish.”

    Old and New Friends

This wonderful opportunity came about through our dear friend Gary Griffin at Olivet Nazarene University. Each year Olivet sells tickets to an Olivet game held at the Pacers' Conseco Fieldhouse, which includes admission to the Pacers game. We want to thank Gary for his kindness in opening this door for us.

Gary's contact with the Pacers is Alice Laskowski, one of the sweetest, kindest and sharpest people we've met in quite a while. She is the Marketing and Group Sales Specialist for the Indiana Pacers. Alice and her husband treated us to a wonderful dinner at St. Elmos in Indianapolis and we had a great evening with them. Those of you who are Indiana basketball fans will recognize her husband, John, as the voice of Hoosiers basketball, and he was a player himself a few years back. They were wonderful hosts and became new special friends.

This photo is of Alice, Allison, and Gary. We thought about cropping Gary out to improve the overall quality of the picture, but decided we had to leave it in!

    South Africa and Surgery

Many of you have asked about Allison's trip to South Africa. They had a wonderful trip and she feels the videos will be some of the best ever. It was a long trip over and back but when you're on an airplane with Ben Speer, there's never a dull moment!

Brian's surgery went very well and he has fully restored mobility in the arm. Full lifting ability and strength is still a few months away, as is the ability to swing a golf club, but he's on his way back! Thank you for your prayers and concern for these matters.
