Dear Believers,

Thank you for subscribing to our mailng list. Brian and I hope you enjoy hearing from us. Our ministry is undergoing a fundamental change and we wanted you to know about it. We have always been dependant upon the generosity of believers to minister to all we come in contact with. In truth, we have sometimes personally gone into debt to fulfill the tasks God has set before us and there have been many ministry opportunities that we have not taken because of financial considerations.

To help us in that regard, we have formed Allison Durham Speer Ministries, Inc., a non-profit corporation, to enable God's people to share our vision of ministry in a tangible way. This ministry will be accountable to a board of trustees that consists of pastors and godly mentors that will guide us spiritually and help to assure our every decision will exalt the name of Christ and spread His gospel. As a 501(c)3 corporation (applied for January 2005), gifts to this ministry will be tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes.

Brian and I have a great zeal to help young musicians learn to be servants of the church in areas of worship leading, music delivery, business management, and scheduling. We have been striving to teach gifted young ministers to carry on a responsible, accountable ministry with the principles of holiness. Your gifts will help us in our teaching endeavors and bless generations to come.

I also feel the need to keep recording great music for the church. We are saving money towards that purpose with the goal of recording again in the summer of 2005. If you would like to help us reach that goal, we would be grateful to you and would praise the Lord for your generosity.

Over the last 20 years we have been faithful to the call of God on our lives to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Just this past week pastor John Strain from First Baptist Church in Tom's River, New Jersey, testified to me about the ministry of my recordings to his spirit while his wife lay in an ICU fighting for her life after a major stroke. He is just one of the reasons we continue to sing of the promises of God to His church.
