Greetings!
During a month in the Himalayas this summer near the Hindu village of Almora, I completed my long-awaited novel entitled Yeshua: The Unknown Jesus. It is available online as an e-book.
Modern church religion knows and cares little for the thought-world and spiritual practices that provided context for, and today can radically illuminate, the teachings of Jesus. Christianity preaches a gospel about Jesus as Messiah, rather than the Basor ("Gospel") taught by Jesus. The historical teachings and practices of Jesus take a back seat to church doctrine and theology.
My fictional biography of Jesus is designed to introduce readers to the forgotten world of Jewish Messianic, Kabbalistic, prophetic, wisdom, and Merkabah mysticism that was known to the Jewish disciples of Yeshua, but completely lost to emerging gentile Christianity. It provides a simple, non-academic way for readers to understand what only profound academic study can reveal, though few scholars really comprehend.
It illuminates the authentic historical teachings and practices of the Master Yeshua, which have little in common with modern Christian doctrine and practice, and helps serious seekers draw near to the greatest spiritual teacher who ever walked the Earth. |

Dr. Keizer's Major Work on the Life of Yeshua and His Historical Teachings is Now Available Online

A scholar who has devoted his life research to recovering the historical teachings of Mar Yeshua, the Master Jesus, skillfully uses the medium of historical fiction to reveal what Christianity doesn't know about its own founder.
Yeshua was a Master of Jewish Messianic, Kabbalistic, and Merkabah mysticism. He was an initiate of the prophetic and wisdom schools of Judaism. He taught a brilliant Basor (prophetic message) that galvanized forces destined to transform history and humanity.
But the context and knowledge that informed the Master's Halakah (discipleship teachings) and spiritual Basor was lost as Messianic Judaism was eclipsed by the emerging gentile mystery religion called Christianity, with its Gospel of the Saviour God Jesus Christ.
Keizer's novel portrays the probable experiences and influences that shaped Yeshua's life, and it opens our understanding to the true meaning of his powerful teachings.
A detailed preface explains the methods he and other scholars employ to recover the Aramaic vocabulary and key concepts of Yeshua. The author has appended an extensive glossary of Aramaic and other terms used in the novel that is a major study in itself. He has also appended a brief summary of the Basor taught by Yeshua, which has little in common with the Gospel of Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant Christianity.
In a final section he designates as "Author's Wild Rant," he takes Christianity to task for the many ways it has distorted and neglected the Master's teachings. Here he also systematically outlines the differences between his fictional, but historically feasible, life of Yeshua and the Jesus of myth and legend portrayed in Christian Gospels and theology.
