A New Woman Bishop
  Anya Kumara
Anya has been deeply involved in spiritual work for many decades. Thirteen years ago she studied Home Temple curriculum and was initiated into THG as part of Bishop Christine Payne-Towler's Church of Mary Magdalene in Eugene, Oregon, and was advanced to the Apostolic office of Priest. After moving to Ashland, Oregon, she helped organize a new Magdalenic spiritual group.

Anya's Bishop Christine Payne-Towler, a member of the Home Temple Synod of Bishops, asked Anya to complete the THG First Order including demonstration of ability to control weather as a prerequisite to advancement into the Episcopate in the Church of Mary Magdalene. Anya did her proving last summer. While she could have been validly Consecrated by Bishop Christine alone, she wanted to be Consecrated by the Keizers as well. We have scheduled her Consecration during our Gnostic Mass at the Home Temple Yurt Sanctuary on Sunday, June 4, 2006.

Bishop Willa to be Awarded D.V.H.
  June 4, 2006
Willa developed the Caduceus Institute of Classical Homeopathy to train homeopaths and prepare them to pass exams and meet clinical requirements for national certification. To this she added School of Sacred Studies requirements to allow advanced students to earn the Doctorate in Vitalistic Healing. (D.V.H.)

Now that the program is in place, she herself has met all requirements for the degree. Dr. Keizer will formally award Bishop Willa her D.V.H. Degree after the Gnostic Mass at the Home Temple Sanctuary on Sunday, June 4, 2006.
