The New JIVA Diploma Program in Jyotish

The first local classes in Vedic Astrology for the
Diploma in Jyotish begin here in Santa Cruz on
Saturday, April 8. There is still time for last-minute
registrations, but the multimedia lecture-
presentations will be recorded and made available
via distance-learning to those who wish to enter the
program.

J.I.V.A.: The Jagannath Institute of Vedic Astrology

One Year Diploma Program
The Home Temple School of Sacred Studies now
sponsors the Diplomate program of the Jagannath
Institute of Vedic Astrology. Knowledge that was
previously passed on through private family lineages
in ancient India is now being made available to
spiritually oriented people with little background in
the Vedas through this new on-site and distance-
learning program. If you wish to learn Jyotish at its
deepest level, according to what it really is -- a limb
of the Vedas -- this course is for you.

Founder of the Sri Jagannath Center (SJC)
Pt. Sanjay Rath is the current lineage holder of this
tradition and his teachings form the foundation of the
JIVA program. He belongs to a traditional family of
astrologers from Puri, Orissa, India. He is a world
renowned teacher of Jyotish with both a profound
depth of ancient knowledge and an ability to
communicate it to the modern mind, and to the
English-speaking world.
After JIVA students have gained basic knowledge,
Sanjay plans to personally instruct them during three
on-site weekends in Santa Cruz, California.
