Many scholars now recognize that MARY MAGDALENE was the closest and most advanced disciple of Yeshua. More than that, she was an Apostle who left us vital clues to the inner circle teachings of Yeshua that we can now begin to recover through careful examination of the Gospel of Mary.

Mary's Gospel was known through Greek papyrus fragments over a century ago, but the recently discovered Coptic version has given us comparative parameters to reconstruct its earliest form. The Easter-Passover Full Moon under which Yeshua accomplished the greatest of all initiations, the Qimah or so-called Resurrection, was the first full moon after the Vernal Equinox. That is a sacred time of special alignment in the position of Earth relative to the macrocosm that has always been the "Season of Initiation." But with precession of the equinoxes caused by the slow rotation of Earth's axis every 24,000 years, the special alignment now occurs at the SECOND full moon after the Vernal Equinox--one month after traditional Western Easter and Passover, and at the time usually designated as Easter by the Eastern Orthodox churches, and as Wesak by Buddhism. Thus we speak of our "Wesak" Initiation.

This year, however, Western Easter (first full moon) occured extremely early in March, and Jewish authorities have designated the second full moon of April 24 as Passover. It is also Eastern Orthodox Easter. Most important, it is the THG "Wesak" Moon, BUT this leaves a confusion, because Buddhist Wesak is always the Taurus Moon of May, and this year will be the third full moon, a month later. So to make things more understandable, we are using the term Full Moon of Initiation. In any case, that occurs during the wee hours of Sunday, April 24, and is the Moon used for THG Initiation and for the Purification Empowerment.

The "weather proving" is an ancient demonstration of having developed the ability to work with elemental forces. It is used in certain schools of Tibetan Lamas, American Indian shamans, and Sufi or other initiatic traditions. We use it in THG with a little help from the Eggregore of the Temple. The Initiate learns how to use the Liturgy and Eggregore for theurgical operation--a more advanced form of Priesthood we call the Grail Priesthood. Theurgy is use of sacred forces to set up currents that promote certain outcomes in physical-etheric reality. It can be used for long-distance healing and many other forms of spiritual service.

When THG Initiates pass the "weather proving," they have completed the First Order of THG and can be Dubbed Dames or Knights of the +OMR+. They can also chose to do the Portal Exercises in preparation for Advancement into the Second Order, in which they do Generation and Completion practices of the Christ- Melchizedek Tantra leading to advanced spiritual development with manifestation of siddhis.

THIS YEAR THE WESAK OR SHAMABALLA MOON OF INITIATION OCCURS ON SUNDAY, APRIL 24, AT 10:06 GMT (UT). That is 3:06 A.M. on West Coast US, and 6:06 A.M. on East Coast. This is the beginning of the Spiritual Year when you will receive guidance from your Augoeides or Higher Nature that constitutes your "marching orders" for the coming year. It is the time THG Initiates do the Purification and Antahkarana-Building Empowerment to facilitate communion with Divine Guidance by attuning to make themselves more spiritually sensitive. Do the Wesak Full Moon meditation. Start 15 minutes before the Full Moon and meditate until 15 minutes after. Make your mind completely still and focused on Light. Over the next few days what you have received will begin to manifest in your conscious mind through dreams, inspirations, new ideas. This is the Season of Initiation. Be awake for it!
