Health & Wellness
With the approach of the fall season, our thoughts turn to familiar themes: the gathering of the harvest and its bounty, the eminent changing of the leaves to brilliant hues and the departure of summer's warm air and bright sunshine. Autumn brings forth the body's natural physical, emotional and spiritual responses to the change of seasons, as well. It's a time for many of transition, reflection and preparation for the chilly winter months ahead. Every spring, summer, fall and winter season introduces new opportunities and challenges within our beings to renew, replenish and grow. Understanding and appreciating these natural cycles and rhythms, an inspired group of practitioners and professionals dedicated to well-being felt a desire to offer clients and interested readers valuable information on health and wellness, while educating the public about their individual and unique offerings. Thus was conceived the concept of Health & Wellness: A Community Resource for Body, Mind and Spirit. It is the mission of all those who are represented in this quarterly publication to inform, enlighten and educate the community about various wellness issues and concerns, while offering tips that will ideally help readers achieve greater health, vitality and balance in their lives. It is the synergistic relationship between these businesses that also introduces a holistic approach to meeting one's goals with regard to healthier living.
