Our 3rd Annual Virginia Bicyclist and Pedestrian Awareness Week will be September 11 - 17 this year. This is a time when we urge mutual respect among motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians. We want everyone to share the road. Despite a drop in traffic fatalities on Virginia roadways there's been an increase in the number of people killed while riding bikes, running and walking.
