You may have received a communication from Mercedes concerning the recent franchise legislation passed by the General Assembly asking you to contact the Governor's office to request that the allocations section of the bill be amended to suit the manufacturers. You should not do so.

The new bill will have no impact on any manufacturer's present allocation system, except when the manufacturer attempts to interfere with its own system by withholding vehicles a dealer has earned or to which the manufacturer's own allocation system says the dealer is entitled in order to punish or manipulate the dealer.
