Brigham Young University (BYU) Print and Mail Services in Provo, Utah, led by Doug Maxwell, definitely raised the bar this year by using every promotional avenue imaginable to spread the word about the in-plant's wide range of services including open houses, training seminars, internet and on-campus marketing campaigns, calendars, cookbooks, photo books, notepads, ads, invitations, posters, fliers, bookmarks and so much more.

 

Their efforts were so impressive the in-house team, comprised of 58 full and part-time staffers, walked away with IPMA's coveted
In-House Promotional Excellence Award for 2012.

Cindy L. Hohman, Supervisor, Office Services, at American Electric Power in Fort Wayne, IN, has recently gained recertification as a Graphic Communications Manager (CGCM) through IPMA.

IPMA offers certification programs for Graphic Communications Managers (CGCM), as well as Mail Managers (CMM). The exams are given on-line at testing facilities across the country and will also be administered at Graph Expo. (See story below.)
