Insourcing Wipes Out Outsourcing Threats
Dale Johnson at Woman's Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA, has wiped out outsourcing threats through insourcing which accounts for over half of the revenue generated. The 14-person print shop services over 100 internal departments and has an active insourcing base of over 500 customers. "We are very competitive compared to the local market," he explains. "Becoming a profit center has greatly, if not completely,
eliminated outsourcing threats,"
he shares. "Just as important, insourcing has generated the ability to provide more services to our parent company." Could it be the solution for your shop?
