Riva Trace Baptist Church

Help us plant a beautiful rain garden on the grounds of the Riva Trace Church that will reduce the amount of stormwater runoff into Beard's Creek and South River.
This project is part of the Federation's Targeted Watershed Initiative made possible with support from the Chesapeake Bay Trust.
We will provide gloves and tools, but if you have a favorite pair of gloves, bring them along.
Remember sun screen and hats.

To prevent adding more plastic bottles to the environment, we will provide a large water cooler with water, so please bring a Nalgene or similar bottle to re-fill!
  RIVERWATCHER INFORMATION MEETING
Wednesday, May 28
7:00 - 9:00pm

Chesapeake Bay Foundation's Philip Merril Center
6 Herdon Ave.
Annapolis, MD  21403

The South River Federation is looking for supporters who can volunteer a few hours a month to help improve the health of the River.

As a South Riverwatcher you can help expand our "eyes and ears" network by reporting threats to our creeks and river, such as illegal dumping, Critical Area violations, muddy water flowing into our creeks or going down storm drains. As a South Riverwatcher, you can help us organize volunteer work-days, or more regularly monitor water quality at a creek near you.

You don't need to live along the water to join our team.  The only pre-requisite is a commitment to a healthy and restored South River.

Join us for an informational meeting to learn how you can help make a bigger difference for the South River.
