Let's start the conversation!
Law Librarian Conversations, the podcast about all things law library and legal information, will be airing this Friday, May 25, at 2:00PM Central Time.
We're having a special show featuring co-chairs of this year's Summit, Jean O'Grady and Joan Axelroth. We hope that you can join us for a discussion about the law firm library of 2020. Academic law librarians are welcome to learn what the "real world" is anticipating and share your insights into what you think the law school library of 2020 will look like. (Will law school libraries be very different from law firm libraries?) Law Librarian Conversations is a live, call-in radio-style podcast, so we'll be very happy to take your calls with questions or comments for our guests and panelists. Why attend the Summit?
Summit participants will be better able to understand the trends, structures and pressures of the law firm environment so that they can be prepared to take leadership roles as the practice of law goes through a time of radical change. Sessions will range from visionary to practical, covering listening platforms, social media, ERM, life as a law firm partner and more. If you bring back three good ideas to your employer, then the cost will be well worth it. Summit registration includes a Friday night reception, continental breakfast and lunch.
The full day of Summit programming is a great value at only $145. Or consider combining the Summit on Saturday with one-day registration for Sunday AALL programs for a terrific weekend conference experience. |
