What's New at Transcend?

It's been 3 months of change at Transcend Management Advisors. Being that change is our business, that's good news! Some highlights from the past few months and looking forward to the next three.

Wilma was asked to join MacKay CEO Forums as its Calgary Chair. At a recent CEO breakfast that I attended and in my discussions with leaders of varying size companies, this issue is relevant, current, and the problem is not going away. So then, how do some companies have people that have been with them for many years and others have significant turnover year after year? What differentiates companies that can hold on to their people, or at least the people they want to hold on to, from the others?

Salaries and wages is one element that is usually thought to be a determining factor. The perception is that companies that pay more are better able to hold on to their people.
