Fall 2012 Class Rosters
|
Real time class rosters are available online through MySuffolk. You can view students who are waitlisted or who have dropped or withdrawn from your course. Student rosters can be viewed with a student profile picture when accessing your account on campus. To view your rosters: - Login to MySuffolk and chose the Faculty tab.
- Select Class Roster from the left hand side of the screen.
- Select term date of the roster (12/FA) and click submit.
Students are not permitted to sit in a class if they are not officially enrolled. If a student is missing from your roster please refer student to the Registrar's Office.

Reasons to Sign Add/Drop Forms
|
Override:
- Waitlisted/Closed courses
- Time Conflict (requires signature from both instructors)
- Prerequisites that the student has not completed (for CAS students only)
SBS faculty may not override prerequisites. Students must obtain the following approvals:
- SBS Undergraduate students need Dean's Office approval.
- SBS Graduate students need Program Director's approval.
When overriding course capacities, it is important to refer to your waitlist to monitor enrollment and room capacities.

Add/Drop & WaitLists
| |
Students have the ability to place themselves on a course waitlist during registration.
Friday, September 7 is the last day that Course Section waitlists will be run. No student will be added from the waitlist after Friday, September 7.
As of Tuesday, September 11, students will need instructor
approval to add courses.
Monday, September 17 is the last day for add/drop and late registration.
Students may withdraw from a course without a grade by Tuesday, October 2.

Expiration of Incomplete Grades

As defined in the academic catalog, only in the case of outstanding course work may a student receive a grade of INC. DO NOT make arrangements to issue an INC grade if the student must repeat the course in a future semester.
"I" (incomplete) grades issued in Fall 2011 will convert to a grade of "F*" on Monday, December 17, 2012. The Office of the Registrar will send email reminders to faculty and students who have issued or received "I" grades in mid-October.

FERPA (Family Education Rights & Privacy Act)
|  In accordance with the provisions of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act, Suffolk University has adopted the following regulations to protect student privacy rights. Suffolk University shall consider as "Directory Information" subject to public disclosure the following items: name, email address, enrollment status, dates of attendance, major, minor, degrees, graduation honors, academic honors, awards received, degree date and student photos. Any questions about FERPA should be directed to the Registrar's Office or visit here. |

Early Alert
| Early Alert grades will be due to the Office of the Registrar Wednesday, October 10. An email will be sent to all faculty prior to October 10 and will provide further information on the Early Alert grading process.
Advising 13/SP Advising begins Monday, October 15. Registration 13/SP Registration begins Monday, November 5 . Attendance Dates Keep track of attendance dates for students. Final grading requires a last date of attendance for "I", "L", and "F" grades. |
