Epic Ales

In the spirit of great Washington beer, Diamond Knot Brewing would like to welcome our friends from Epic Ales to the Alehouse on Wednesday June 20th, 2012, for a fun night of beer. Cody Morris, owner and brewer will be in the house to answer all of your beer questions, plus we will be sampling three of their tasty beers. To add to the fun, you will have the chance to win some cool Epic Ales swag. This is our way of supporting Washington Beer and our brethren in the brewing community, all while providing you a great time! Join us for some great Washington beers! |

Each Thursday night at 5pm, we tap a special cask conditioned beer.

June 7th:XIPA dryhopped with Nugget & CascadeThe surly big brother of our IPA is now even bigger as we dry- hopped this cask with Nugget and Cascade hops. Still dark copper in color, the distinct malty flavor greets you with a more intense hoppy finish. ABV: 7.9%

June 14th:
Oaked Steamer Glide Stout
Our dry Irish-style stout, now aged with oak is made from 2-Row pale malt, flaked barley & black barley with a single hop addition. ABV: 4.8%

June 21st:
Industrial Red dry-hopped with Cascade, Simcoe & Chinook
A brand new, experimental addition to our "Industrial" lineup, this one's a force to be reckoned with! A malty backbone to support the loads of Chinook, Cascade and Simcoe hops. ABV: 8.5%

June 28th:Apple Cinnamon ESB
Our standard ESB, conditioned with fresh apple cider, cinnamon sticks and a bag of fresh apple chunks. Deep amber/red in color, a generous addition of specialized ESB malt provides the complex maltiness. ABV: 6.0%

Matt's Nitro - June 13th
Golden Ale
Very light in color, but with a significantly malty mouth feel imparted by Munich Malt and flaked barley. Just a hint of herbal bitterness comes from Saaz hops. 10 IBUs; 4.9% ABV

June 7th: India Pale Ale
Copper-colored with a malty character up front. Intensely bitter with hints of grapefruit and cedar imparted by heavy-handed additions of Galena and Columbus hops. ABV: 6.2%
June 21st: Possession Porter
A robust, American-Style Porter. Chocolate Malt, Black Barley, Flaked Barley, Crystal Malt and molasses lend a deep, reddish-black hue to this full-bodied ale. Galena and Glacier hops impart substantial yet balanced bitterness. ABV: 5.3%
