When the nights grow longer and the days get cooler, we know that October is near. This is a special month for Diamond Knot. On October 15th, we celebrate our 17th Anniversary. On that faithful day in 1994, the first keg of Diamond Knot beer was served. Back then we only made two beers, Hefeweizen and India Pale Ale. Oh how we have grown over these past years.
October is a time to celebrate but also a time to remember the ones we have lost. Join us on Oct 31st for a toast to our founder, Brian Sollenberger. This year marks the 2nd anniversary of his untimely passing. We miss you, Brian!!!

In the spirit of great Washington beer, Diamond Knot Brewing would like to welcome our friends from Anacortes Brewing to the Alehouse on Wednesday Oct 19th, 2011, for a fun night of beer. The whole gang will be in the house to answer all of your beer questions, plus we will be sampling three of their tasty beers. To add to the fun, we will be holding raffles all night long, so that you can win some cool swag. This is our way of supporting Washington Beer and our brethren in the brewing community, all while providing you a great time! Join us for some great Washington beer! |

Each Thursday night at 5pm, we tap a special cask conditioned beer.

The surly big brother of our IPA is now even bigger as we dry- hopped this cask with Simcoe hops. Still dark copper in color, the distinct malty flavor greets you with a more intense hoppy finish. ABV: 7.9%

Oct 13th:
Bourbon Barrel Stout
Bourbon Barrel aged Irish-style Dry Stout made simply from 2-Row pale malt, flaked barley and roasted barley with a Galena bittering hop. Nitrogen-carbonated for that creamy head and super smooth mouth feel.
ABV: 4.3%

Shipwreck
XXXIPA
We've gone and done it again! Another (sort-of) IPA that's a force to be reckoned with. Strong, dark and in-your-face bitter, this titan is conditioned on Port-aged white oak chips for a slightly sweet, oaky finish. ABV: 9.0%

Oct 27th:
India Pale Ale
Copper-colored with a malty character up front. Intensely bitter with hints of grapefruit and cedar imparted by heavy-handed additions of Galena and Columbus hops.
ABV: 6.2%
