IN WESTERN TIBET (1933) -
Film screening and presentation
On the occasion
of the conference dedicated to "Giuseppe Tucci - Explorer and Extraordinary
Scholar", which begins on the 1st of October at Monash University (Caulfield
Campus), the Italian Institute of Culture is pleased to host the screening of
the documentary, "The Scientific Mission of Giuseppe Tucci in Western Tibet in
1933". The presentation portrays Tucci's studies and experiences during one of
his many explorations of Tibet. Speakers: Dr Andrea Di Castro and Dr David Templeman
(Monash Asia Institute)
