Upcoming Events - August 2010
Thursday, August 26 - Saturday, September 24, 2010 Trash: Pasolini's leaves (In English)
A tribute to Pier Paolo Pasolini Italian poet, intellectual, film director and writer in the 35th anniversary of his death. The performance revises images, poems, texts by the Friulan author and director, and expresses his evangelical point of view towards the 'weak' protagonists of our society: the social classes less advantaged and less considered. The performance is inspired by the street-cleaners strike that took place in Rome in 1970 and that was narrated by Pasolini through some verses that form the background of the performance together with other images and texts written by Pasolini.
The Fondazione Aida was established in Verona in 1983 by a group of artists aiming to promote theatre for children. Today Aida carries out a wide range of activities in order to offer every aspect of culture through national and international projects.
